Karen A. Dion

Karen has an extensive background in representing clients in consumer bankruptcy proceedings, appearing at thousands of Federal Court hearings in both Chapter 7 and Chapter 13 cases.  For the past fourteen years, her goal has been to help clients feel comfortable and well-informed in a setting that can often be confusing, stressful and frustrating to navigate.  Early on in her career while clerking for a Trial Court Judge, she recognized the many ways in which the legal process can impact an individual.  She makes every effort to make clients feel at ease by explaining each step of the bankruptcy process and recognizing that each client has unique concerns.   Clients have described Karen as conscientious, understanding and compassionate. Karen is also a zealous advocate of clients rights and and uses her experience and knowledge of the bankruptcy process to assist each client in obtaining their personal financial goals. 
 
Karen is an accomplished litigator and was Managing Editor of the Wisconsin International Law Journal.  Karen and her family enjoy many outdoor sports, especially those in, on and under the water.
